The Jumpstart course was conceived and designed by Jerry Muelver - jmuelver . The outline and many of the lessons were written by Jerry Muelver. The staff of the Liberty BASIC Programmer's Encyclopedia is modifying developing this introductory course on programming concepts as a collaborative project using the course and will be adding lessons with Jerry's permission and help. Before You Start

This tutorial, Jumpstart for Beginners: Programming Concepts , is intended for complete beginners who are interested in learning about computer programming. Jumpstart will not teach you everything you need to land a job as a programmer, but it will help you:
  • learn basic programming concepts
  • practice using those concepts
  • add to your knowledge step-by-step
  • write real programs in Liberty BASIC , a real programming language
